The driver must be at least 23 years old.
The driver must have a valid driver’s license that was issued at least one year ago.
All fines for which the drivers are guilty are to be paid exclusively by the tenant.
At the end of the agreed rental period, Rellas Rental company provides a free 1-hour grace period for returning the car. If this deadline is exceeded, the tenant must pay at least the cost of a full day's rental for the car.
Upon receipt of the car, a contract is provided stating the amount of fuel in the car's tank. The tenant must return the rented car with the same amount of fuel as stated in the contract. If the car is returned with less fuel than stated, the tenant must pay for the missing liters at the current market value at the time of the rental, plus an additional 5 euros for refueling.
The use of the rented car is prohibited for the following purposes:
It is forbidden to travel outside Greece with the car or to transport the car on a ship without the lessor's written consent.
If the vehicle is found to be unsuitable for use, the lessor will arrange for a replacement and take responsibility for providing a similar vehicle.
In case of vehicle damage due to a traffic accident, theft, or vandalism, the tenant must immediately contact the police and the owner, and obtain a copy of the police report.

- Damage to the interior of the vehicle, including smoking damage, damage from pets, misuse, excessive dirt, or loss or damage to the key, is not covered by insurance. In such cases, the tenant is responsible for covering the damage;
- Insurance also does not apply to car wheels or the bottom part of the car. In case of damage to these parts, the tenant is responsible for covering the cost of the damage.

Our rental agreements typically include unlimited mileage, allowing you to explore without worrying about exceeding any mileage limits.
- In Greece, vehicles drive on the right side of the road.
- The fees for private toll roads vary from €1.50 to €3.50.
- It's against the law to drive under the influence of alcohol or to use your phone while driving in Greece.
- Wearing seat belts is mandatory. Violations incur fines of €80 for the initial offense, increasing to €350 thereafter.
- Penalties for running a red light or making illegal passes amount to €700.
- When approaching an unmarked intersection, vehicles on the right have priority. This rule applies to roundabouts as well! Thus, vehicles already inside the roundabout yield to those entering (a unique rule in Greece).
- Illegally parked cars may be fined approximately €150.
- Children under 12 years old should be seated in the rear of the vehicle.
- Car seats are required for children under 4 years old. Secure one in advance, or bring along your own portable car seat.
